(AAA) is the denominational accrediting authority for educational programs and institutions owned by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The Association evaluates the quality of the denominational institutions’ programs and their implementation of the Seventh-day Adventist philosophy of education in order to foster the unity and mission of the Church.

General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists

The Education Department of the General Conference oversees the international Adventist network. The department promotes this huge network of schools and provides quality control to make sure Adventist educational institutions surpass expectations and provide a great start to the lives of students.

North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists

The Education Department of the North American Division develops the curriculum and policies for schools in North America. It produces marketing materials, sets certification standards, and implements school evaluations for accreditation.

Columbia Union Conference Education System

The Education Department of Columbia Union Conference oversees the operation of schools in seven states (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Ohio, West Virginia), and the District of Columbia. Its system consists of 25 preschools / centers, 51 PreK-8 schools, 13 K-10 schools, five 9-12 schools, four PreK-12 schools and two institutions of higher education— Kettering College in Kettering, Ohio, and Washington AdventistUniversity. in Takoma Park, Maryland. Total enrollment is nearly 9,000.

The Allegheny East Conference Board of Education

 oversees the operation of 11 schools in five states New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.
